Entries on day of Show

(Exhibits to be staged by 9:50 a.m.)

Prize money will be paid from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the Industrial Tent.

Judging commences at 10 a.m. - Entries 10p each.


The Marquee will be cleared of spectators at 4:30 p.m.

Prize Money: 1st £1, 2nd 60p, 3rd 40p


1. Best Six Pods of Peas.

2. Four Heaviest Potatoes (washed).

3. Best Four Potatoes

5. Best Cabbage (quality).

6. Best Three Beetroot.

7. Best Lettuce.

8. Best Four Carrots.

9. Best Four Onions (quality).

10. Best Four Onions from setts.

11. Best Three Turnips.

12. Best Cucumber.

13. Best Four Tomatoes.

14. Best Cauliflower.

15. Best Two Pot Leeks, White, not to exceed 6" to tight button.

16. Best Six Runner Beans.

17. Best Six Pods of Broad Beans.

18. Largest Marrow

19. Best exhibit classes 1 - 18. First prize winners only.


Most points in classes 1 - 18. First and second prize - winners only, 1st 3 points, second - 2 points.

Exhibitors with double entries will be restricted to points for their best exhibit in any one class.

Custody of the Strang Steel Perpetual Challenge Cup for one year.
