Passports must accompany all cattle.

Hill Cattle Class

Entry Fee £1 each

Prize Money: 1st £10, 2nd £5, 3rd £3.

1. Best Three Cows & their own Calves of Beef Type. Confined to the District of the Society.  Calves to be born in the year of the Show.

The "Southern Reporter" Challenge Trophy

will be awarded to the winner.

2. Best Three Suckled Calves (any sex). Born PRIOR to 1st January in the year of the Show.

Gideon Pringle Trophy.

3. Best Suckled Calve born after 1st January in the year of the Show.- Class may be split according to entry numbers.

The Royal Bank of Scotland Perpetual Challenge Trophy.

4. Best Suckled Calve born before 1st January in the year of the show. Must have all calf teeth.

MERCK, SHARPE & DOHME TROPHY. For champion calf in show.

Classes 1 & 2 to be judged on farm on a date to be advised to the exhibitor.

Classes 3 & 4 Judged at Show ground.
